TO RIDE THE CAMEL EXPRESS:
MASKS ARE OPTIONAL AND AVAILABLE AS OF APRIL 19, 2022. The CDC encourages everyone to practice personal protection.
Welcome to Camel Express! Our service is open to anyone. The Town of Quartzsite operates this curb-to-curb Dial-A-Ride service throughout Quartzsite, La Paz Valley, Rainbow Acres, and seasonal camping areas. Regional destinations include Parker, Ehrenberg, Lake Havasu City, Yuma, and Blythe, CA. Camel Express can be used for work, medical appointments, school, meetings, Senior Center lunches, events and much more. All vehicles are mobility aid accessible. Service is available Monday through Friday.
Operating Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

The Camel Express continues to practice COVID Protocols.
For everyone's safety, Masks are optional for drivers, passengers, and available from the drivers.
Hand sanitizer is available upon boarding and exiting.
Buses are disinfected daily.

Free Rides For Seniors Are Available To Those That Qualify
Thanks to funding from WACOG Area Agency on Aging, seniors are able to receive free rides to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and senior nutrition programs every month on Quartzsite Camel Express by participating in the AAA Program. This program will exist as long as funding is available.

Transit services are funded by Arizona Department of Transportation through the Federal Transit Administration Section 5311 funds and the Town's General Fund. In addition, funding to support the WACOG senior ticket program is provided in part or whole by grants through the Administration on Aging, the Arizona DES-DAAS and WACOG-AAA.
