Police Officer-Entry/Lateral-Town of Quartzsite, Arizona – The Quartzsite Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill existing openings and to establish and eligibility list for the coming year.
Requirements for the police officer position are:
A High School diploma, 21 years old and meet the Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training (AZ POST) criteria. The starting salary is $35,755 for a Police Recruit in the academy and while on probation. A Certified Lateral Officer’s salary begins at $41,122 depending on years of service and experience.

The testing will consist of:
A written test, oral board, physical agility, background investigation, polygraph test and a physical exam. You must pass each step to continue to the next phase of testing.
