052110 – SP1. Discussion and possible approval of Resolution No. 10-10; 2010 CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) Grant Application.
Council Member Lizarraga motions to approve Resolution No. 10-10; 2010 CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) Grant Application. Motion seconded by Council Member Kelley. Mayor Huntley calls for the vote. Vote – 7 in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
052110 – SP2. Discussion and possible approval of Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Quartzsite and the Scholars’ Academy regarding use of the Town park.
Council Member Lukkasson motioned to discuss the possible approval of Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Quartzsite and the Scholars’ Academy regarding use of the Town park. Motion seconded by Council Member Kelley. Mayor Huntley calls for the vote. Vote – 7 in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
052110 – SP3. Discussion and possible action to choose an engineer to complete the A.P.P. for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project.
Mayor Huntley motions to choose an engineer to complete the A.P.P. for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project. Motion seconded by Council Member Lizarraga. Mayor Huntley specifies PBS&J as the chosen engineering group. Council Member Lizarraga amends the motion to accept the bid from PBS&J to complete the A.P.P. for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project. Amendment seconded by Council Member Lukkasson. Mayor Huntley calls for the vote on the amendment. Vote – 7 in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
052110 – SP4. Discussion and possible award of Request for Proposal for Town Engineer.
Mayor Huntley motioned to award the Request for Proposal for Town Engineer to PBS&J. Motion seconded by Council Member Winslow. Mayor Huntley calls for the vote. Vote – 7 in favor. MOTION CARRIED.
